About BlueCentral

BlueCentral is a hosting and mobility solutions provider, delivering all of your hosting needs, from domain names to dedicated hosting as well as mobile messaging aggregations, mobile billing and delivery and security services. Their clients consist of the SME sector, large businesses, corporate and government departments worldwide.

The Challenge

To maintain its strong position and high brand awareness in an extremely competitive market, BlueCentral needs to communicate with business customers on a regular and relevant basis. Some communications have very limited lead time because new offers need to be sent to customers before competitors make contact. An easy-to-use email solution with a strong, functional HTML editor was critical for the marketing department.

BlueCentral had faced several challenges with their previous email marketing suppliers. Inaccurate de-duping was a major issue, with some clients receiving up to five copies of the same email. This led to a higher than usual unsubscribe rate.

Operationally, their previous supplier’s poor HTML editor required up to two dedicated days to develop a simple email. Very little training and support were offered by their supplier to improve the situation. BlueCentral was in desperate need of a quicker and more robust solution that allowed them to communicate effectively to customers.
